As a wedding planner, it’s always a joy to be part of a couple’s special day, but this wedding at The Vancouver Club was particularly magical. The couple’s celebration blended timeless elegance, romance, and personal details, with a stunning portrait session in Stanley Park’s Rose Garden providing an extra layer of beauty to the day. From the moment the bride and her bridesmaids shared their first look to the final toast at the reception, this wedding was everything you could dream of for a classic white celebration.

The Morning: Getting Ready at The Vancouver Club

The day began with the bride and her bridesmaids getting ready at The Vancouver Club, the perfect setting to prepare for a wedding day as beautiful as this one. The historic venue’s elegant surroundings provided a chic and intimate space where the bride could share this special moment with her closest friends and family.

One of the most memorable moments of the morning was the intimate first look with the bridesmaids. As the bride revealed her stunning gown for the first time, her bridesmaids were visibly moved—there was a collective gasp of awe as they saw her for the first time, glowing in her timeless, classic dress. This heartfelt moment set the tone for a day full of love, joy, and deep connection.

The Ceremony: Elegant and Romantic

The couple’s ceremony took place in The Vancouver Club's breathtaking Georgian Room, where the white walls provided a serene backdrop for a classic, all-white ceremony. Soft natural light streamed through large windows, casting a warm glow over the couple as they exchanged vows.

White roses lined the aisle, guiding the bride and groom toward each other. The ornate floral focal piece on the white mantle added an elegant touch, and pillar candles were thoughtfully placed at the front to create a soft, romantic ambiance. After the ceremony, the couple took a break from their guests and headed to one of Vancouver’s most beautiful spots—the Rose Garden in Stanley Park. Surrounded by vibrant blooms and lush greenery, the couple captured breathtaking portraits, creating memories that will last a lifetime.
